Tour Itinerary

UK to Stockholm

Day 1 UK to Stockholm

Today you’ll fly to Stockholm. On arrival, we'll transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax and unwind or start exploring your new surroundings. Few European capitals feel quite as gracefully situated as Stockholm, built across fourteen islands where Lake Mälaren meets the Baltic Sea. Perhaps take a stroll through Gamla Stan, the city’s atmospheric old town, with its narrow-cobbled lanes and ochre-painted facades. Stockholm is endlessly explorable, and this afternoon is yours to discover it at your own pace. We’ll gather together this evening for a welcome dinner. Meals included: D

Day 2 Stockholm

A full day in Stockholm today begins with a guided city tour that takes in the city’s highlights including Gamla Stan, the Royal Palace, City Hall, where the Nobel Prize banquet is held each December, and the island of Djurgarden, which sits at the heart of the city’s cultural life. Next we'll visit the Vasa Museum, a maritime museum which displays the only almost fully intact 17th-century ship. The Vasa warship sank on her maiden voyage in 1628, slipping beneath Stockholm harbour before a watching crowd. Remarkably preserved by the cold, dark water, she was raised in 1961 and now sits in her own purpose-built museum, the gilded carvings on her stern still vivid after nearly four centuries. Later we'll experience Stockholm from the water on a cruise that passes under 12 bridges and travels through the lock that connects the Baltic Sea to Lake Malaren. Meals included: B
Stockholm - Jonkoping

Day 3 Stockholm - Jonkoping

After breakfast, we’ll depart the capital and make our way to Mariefred, on the shores of Lake Mälaren where we’ll explore Gripsholm Castle. Known as the castle of Gustav Vasa, it was built in 1537 and today, it houses more than 400 years of history, as well as the portrait collection of the Swedish state. We’ll then head to Jönköping, in southern Sweden. Swedes often refer to Jönköping as The Pearl of the Lake due to the town's location by the southern tip of the Europe's sixth largest lake and the many churches representing numerous denominations and religions. Day 4 Jonkoping - Copenhagen

Today, we'll meet the 'King of the Forest' at Glasriket Moose Park, where they live in their beautiful natural habitat. We'll stop for a coffee and a waffle before we continue our drive on to the charming city of Lund. Here, we'll visit the Lund Cathedral, Sweden's most visited church before continuing our journey to Copenhagen.
Denmark's royal city is packed with history, culture and iconic landmarks just waiting to be discovered. With its picture-postcard waterfront, world-class museums and streets that have been telling stories for centuries. Whether you're soaking up the harbour atmosphere, admiring the architecture or simply watching the city go by, Copenhagen has a way of making every moment feel special. Meals included: B

We’ll join our local guide for an immersive city tour, taking in the Christiansborg Palace, the Royal Theatre, the City Hall, the historic Nyhavn Harbour and striking landmarks including the Little Mermaid that make this city so endlessly fascinating. There's royal history around every corner here and no better way to experience it than with someone who knows it inside out. The highlight?
