The Puente Nuevo bridge is this town's crowning jewel. An 18th-century stone bridge spanning the massive El Tajo Gorge, connecting the ancient Moorish old town with the 'newer' 18th-century quarter. Then, and just a short 20-minute drive from here, lies a village unlike any other in the world. In Setenil, the residents didn't just build on the mountains—they built into them. Take a wander through Calle Cuevas del Sol and Calle Cuevas de la Sombra, and be astonished as you pass under massive natural rock overhangs serving as the ceilings for homes and bustling tapas bars.
