Day 1 UK-Opatija

Your festive holiday to Croatia starts today. Fly to Venice and enjoy a scenic transfer to the famous Opatija Riviera.

Day 2 Christmas Eve, Opatija

We'll discover the highlights of the Istrian Peninsula on today's included excursion. Our first stop is Pula, with its ancient Roman ruins and immense amphitheatre – one of the world’s largest and best preserved. We'll then head onto a family–owned winery, which is surrounded by vineyards. Here, we'll enjoy a light lunch. Next, we'll head to the popular resort of Rovinj to take in the sights of the bustling harbour and the Old Town with its narrow, cobbled streets. Meals included: B,L,D

Day 3 Christmas Day, Opatija

Merry Christmas! Today you can take time to explore Kvarner Bay, the stylish resort of Opatija which boasts amazing sea views and splendid Austro-Hungarian architecture. You could take a stroll around the beautifully maintained gardens and along the lovely coastal promenade – the Lungomare – which forms a stunning backdrop to the town's elegant villas, hotels, shops and cafés. During the festive season food stalls, performances and shopping opportunities line the seafront - a unique festive market looking out to sea. Postojna Cave

Day 4 Boxing Day, Postojna Caves

Today we'll take part in a unique festive experience as we travel to Postojna Caves in Slovenia. One of the largest underground cave systems in Europe, Postojna hides wondrous geological formations. During the festive season, the Cave system becomes a stage for a Living Nativity - this extraordinary event will transport you back in time to relive the timeless story of Christmas in a unique setting. Day 5 Opatija-UK

After breakfast, it's time say goodbye and transfer back to Venice airport to fly home. Meals included: B

Deposit information

When you book a holiday, you will be asked to pay a deposit, this will be made clear at the time of booking. In most cases we will charge the following deposit amount;

  • UK Holidays - £150 per person
  • European Holidays - £200 per person
  • Worldwide Holidays - £400 per person
  • Ocean and River Cruise - £400 per person


On some holidays we may charge a slightly higher deposit, to cover any costs we have to pay immediately to secure your booking with our suppliers. This will be made clear at the time of booking.

If you choose a tour that is within 84 days of departure you will need to pay the full balance when you book.

Our cancellation policy

If you decide to cancel your confirmed booking you must notify us (or your travel agent) in writing, as soon as possible. Since we incur costs in cancelling your arrangements, you will have to pay the applicable cancellation charges up to the maximum shown below.

  • More than 75 days before departure - Loss of deposit only
  • 43 - 74 days - 50% of tour price
  • 29 - 42 days - 75% of tour price
  • 15 - 28 days - 90% of tour price
  • Day of Departure - 14 days - 100% of tour price
