Next we're going to Blenheim Palace, an impressive country house situated on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Woodstock. A fine example of Baroque architecture, it is the home of the 12th Duke of Marlborough and his family and was the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. You are free to go inside the palace and explore the state rooms at leisure, and outside there are more than 2,000 acres of landscaped parkland and formal gardens to discover.
At Christmas, Blenheim Palace is transformed into an even more magical place where fairy-tale meets fantasy. Each year a story is exquisitely brought to life, with each room decorated to depict a different scene.
