The Meteora monasteries are perched atop towering rock pillars that rise dramatically from the landscape. We’ll visit two of these Eastern Orthodox monasteries, accessed by stone steps carved into the rock faces. Day 4 Kalambaka to Nafpaktos

Today’s journey takes us to Delphi, on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. We'll explore the extensive archaeological site, walking the Sacred Way as pilgrims once did, to the Temple of Apollo, and visit the well-preserved theatre with its panoramic mountain views. The on-site museum houses some of Greece's finest treasures, including the timeless Charioteer of Delphi, a life-size bronze sculpture from around 470 BC. Day 5 Nafpaktos

Today offers a well-deserved chance to relax in Nafpaktos - the perfect place to simply be. Wander through its atmospheric streets, explore the Venetian castle, or settle into one of those gorgeous waterside tavernas with a coffee (or something stronger!). Watch the world go by, chat with locals, browse the shops – this is your moment. But if you're feeling adventurous... we've got an unmissable excursion to Kalavryta. Picture this: the historic Odontotos Rack Railway, an engineering marvel from the 1890s, winding through the dramatic Vouraikos Gorge. This narrow-gauge railway climbs 700 metres over 22 kilometres through tunnels, across bridges, hugging cliff-faces. It's one of Greece's most scenic rail journeys, and trust us, it's spectacular. We'll also visit the Basilica of St. John in Selcuk, before heading to the charming old village of Sirince in the afternoon. This place is famous for its fruit wines and it's the perfect spot to slow down and soak it all in. Tonight, we'll gather for dinner back at our hotel in Kusadasi. Meals included: B,D
