Day 1 Stratford-upon-Avon

Head to your hotel, which is located just outside the medieval market town of Stratford-upon-Avon. There will be a welcome tea or coffee on arrival so check in and get to know your surroundings before meeting your fellow travellers for dinner at the hotel. Meals included: D

Day 2 Christmas Eve, Stratford-upon-Avon

After breakfast today, we'll join a local guide for a walk into town to learn about the history of William Shakespeare’s life and works.
Stratford-upon-Avon is steeped in the history of Shakespeare with many locations in the town related to his and his family's life. These are preserved as Britain's national heritage and visited by millions of people every year in a bid to celebrate his life and work. See Shakespeare's New Place, where he lived towards the end of his life; upon his death, New Place became the home of his daughter, Susanna Hall. Enjoy the beautiful architecture of the Guild Chapel and Guildhall, where Shakespeare is said to have attended school. Pass Hall's Croft, the original home of his daughter, on your way to Holy Trinity Church; the final resting place of William Shakespeare and his wife Anne Hathaway. Finally, enjoy the scenery as you walk along the River Avon.
A cream tea will be available on your arrival back at the hotel and a delicious dinner will be served this evening. Meals included: B,D

Day 3 Christmas Day, Stratford-upon-Avon

Merry Christmas! Today we'll enjoy a relaxed breakfast with the morning to spend at leisure before joining your travelling companions for our festive Christmas lunch with a glass of wine. Afterwards you can simply relax and enjoy your surroundings, before we get together once more for a light dinner this evening. Meals included: B,L,D

Day 4 Boxing Day, Warwick Castle

Today we'll enjoy a Boxing Day visit to one of the most iconic castles in the UK, Warwick Castle. You'll have the chance to explore the castle, learn about it's long and tumultuous history including great battles and ancient myths, and also enjoy a stroll through its extensive grounds. We return to the hotel for a farewell dinner. Meals included: B,D

Day 5 Stratford-upon-Avon

After a last leisurely breakfast, it's time for us to depart and make our way home. Meals included: B

Stratford Manor is located in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside, a short drive from Stratford-upon-Avon. Hotel rooms feature en-suite facilities, air-conditioning, flat-screen satellite TV and Wi-Fi access. Other facilities include a spa, a leisure centre with an indoor swimming pool, as well as a fully equipped gym, a restaurant and a bar.

Deposit information

When you book a holiday, you will be asked to pay a deposit, this will be made clear at the time of booking. In most cases we will charge the following deposit amount;

  • UK Holidays - £150 per person
  • European Holidays - £200 per person
  • Worldwide Holidays - £400 per person
  • Ocean and River Cruise - £400 per person


On some holidays we may charge a slightly higher deposit, to cover any costs we have to pay immediately to secure your booking with our suppliers. This will be made clear at the time of booking.

If you choose a tour that is within 84 days of departure you will need to pay the full balance when you book.

Our cancellation policy

If you decide to cancel your confirmed booking you must notify us (or your travel agent) in writing, as soon as possible. Since we incur costs in cancelling your arrangements, you will have to pay the applicable cancellation charges up to the maximum shown below.

  • More than 75 days before departure - Loss of deposit only
  • 43 - 74 days - 50% of tour price
  • 29 - 42 days - 75% of tour price
  • 15 - 28 days - 90% of tour price
  • Day of Departure - 14 days - 100% of tour price
