On one afternoon during our Malta tour, we’ll enjoy lunch at the hidden gem, Diar Il-Bniet – a farm-to-table restaurant.
Home-grown produce is picked daily from the family-run farm nearby which are used to create authentic Maltese cuisine.
Their humble beginnings are at the core of our restaurant concept, making them the perfect place to eat traditional cuisine in Malta. Diar il-Bniet is loyal to the family’s origins and heavily inspired by the teachings of their grandmother, Manan.
In addition to supporting sustainable farming and traditional food production, our visit allows the owners to directly earn an income from tourism. Their estate consists of over 600 acres of land covered in rich, dark, soil which is religiously ploughed and cultivated. This soil is home to a number of different fruits and vegetables which are grown according to the season.
