Day 2 Christmas Eve, St Helier
On a morning tour of the island we'll pass by Corbière Lighthouse, a striking white structure perched dramatically on a rocky headland and connected to the mainland by a causeway. We then continue to the surfer's paradise of St Ouen's Bay, on the west of the island, and the soaring cliffs and tempting sands of Greve de Lecq on the northern coast. On the nearest headland to France lies the village of Gorey, our final stop today. Admire the picture-perfect harbour, watched over by the spectacular castle of Mont Orgueil, which protected Jersey against French invasion for more than 600 years. Back at the hotel, enjoy a light lunch and an afternoon at leisure. Dinner is served at the hotel this evening. After dinner, you could make your own way to the local church for Midnight Mass.
