Frequently Asked Questions

Each group usually has between 20 and 30 people in it; however, the actual number depends on which tour you take. 10 tends to be the minimum number for any Just You solo travel group. Big or small, there’ll be plenty of opportunities to socialise with your fellow travellers. So, whether you fancy making friends at mealtimes or feel like being friendly by the pool, you’re guaranteed a great time whatever size your group is. Of course, if group size is an important deciding factor for your trip, you can always talk to one of our friendly, helpful team for advice and guidance on the tours likely to suit you best.
Generally, more women than men embark on holidays with Just You. It usually works out that about three-quarters of any individual solo travel group is female, but recently we’ve seen more and more men joining our tours.
To us, age is just a number; we welcome anyone on our tours! Typically, our customers are between the ages of 50 and 60, but it’s quite possible you could meet 20-year-olds or 70-year-olds (or anyone in between). As we say at Just You often, age is just a number; if you’ve got a lust for adventure, our holidays are bound to be a blast!
As is the case with all our holidays, the idea is to enjoy the experience in your own way; if that means taking some time for yourself, no problem. Of course, you’ll be with your fellow travellers for any included excursions, but there are numerous optional extras you can choose to participate in or not. Social occasions, such as our welcome drinks and farewell get-togethers, are great for spending quality time with your fellow solo travellers, but it's by no means compulsory to attend; there’s no pressure to join in anything if you’d much rather be by yourself. If you’re as much of a shopper as you are a sightseer, there’s also ample free time for that, alone or in a small group!
Not unless it’s your nearest, most convenient option. Many Just You tours offer flights from local airports across the UK. Once you have selected your tour, simply see the ‘Dates and Prices’ tab for details of available departure airports. If your closest airport isn't listed, we may still be able to arrange a connecting flight, why not give one of our friendly holiday advisors a call. What's more, Just You has now introduced 'Make Your Own Way' on many tours - meaing you can bok your ow flights and tranfers and meet the group at the first hotel if you'd prefer. Some of our worldwide holidays even include free access to the airport lounge – the perfect place to relax before setting off on your adventure!
Have you ever heard the expression ‘the world is your oyster’? Well, that’s the case with Just You; whatever your tastes, we offer destinations where you can do almost anything. Always wanted to take a trip away during the festive period? Indulge in a luxury city break? How about exploring faraway places you’ve only ever read about? Yes, you can do these things – and so much more – on holidays with Just You.
Potentially, yes; there may also be areas with rough ground, gradients and steps on your tour. Don’t worry though, we’ll be your guiding light. At the end of every holiday description, we’ve emphasised the level of walking required, so you can enjoy your trip without any unwelcome surprises! We’ve also shown which holidays may not be suitable for travellers with limited mobility, meaning everyone is well informed and can make the best decision for their needs. If you would like further advice please speak to one of our Holiday Advisors.

If your holiday includes a flight departing from (or returning to) a UK airport, your holiday will be operated by G Touring Limited (company number 04956006) Unit One, The Point Business Park, Rockingham Road, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, LE16 7QU. These holidays are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority (ATOL number 11266). G Touring Limited is also a member of ABTA (the Association of British Travel Agents Limited). For any holiday which does not include a flight, we provide financial security for holiday arrangements booked through us by way of a financial failure insurance policy.
Remember, if you choose a Make Your Own Way holiday, your holiday won’t be ATOL-protected under G Touring Limited if your flights haven’t been arranged through us. As such, we can't accept responsibility for any expenses incurred (or services unused) as a result of your flights being cancelled or delayed, nor can we be held responsible for any negative impact this has on your ability to join and participate in your tour. Details about financial failure protection and repatriation (as it relates to your flight arrangements) should be provided by your flight organiser or airline. If this is not provided, please consult to learn more about passenger rights. Just You’s financial failure insurance only protects arrangements booked through the company directly.
