DAY 1 - UK/Rapid City
Meet your travelling companions in the executive lounge prior to your scheduled flight to Rapid City. On arrival transfer to your hotel for a two night stay. Enjoy a welcome drink this evening.
DAY 2 - Mount Rushmore
We drive to Mount Rushmore in the Black Hills of South Dakota, visit Crazy Horse Memorial, and tour Badlands National Park.
DAY 3 - Sheridan
We drive to Deadwood, then continue to Sheridan for an overnight stay.
DAY 4 - Little Big Horn
We travel to the site of the Battle of the Little Big Horn and Custer’s famous Last Stand, we drive on via Billings to Cody, for an overnight stop.
DAY 5 - Yellowstone
Our tour of Yellowstone National Park shows us Yellowstone Canyon with its waterfall twice the height of Niagara, Mammoth Hot Springs, Midway Geyser Basin and ‘Old Faithful’. Overnight stay in West Yellowstone.
DAY 6 - Yellowstone & Grand Teton
We revisit Yellowstone Park and drive through Grand Teton National Park, to Jackson, for an overnight stay.
DAY 7 - Salt Lake City
We travel past Bear Lake and through Logan Canyon to beautiful Salt Lake City for a two night stay and guided walking tour. Built on salt flats that were once under water, this city has lots to see, not least of which the beautifully landscaped Temple Square, and its centrepiece the 6 Spired Granite Salt Lake Temple.
DAY 8 - Salt Lake City
Relax or join our optional excursion to the Great Salt Lake.
DAY 9 - Arches National Park
We travel to Arches National Park where giant red rock windows and graceful arches gleam in the sun and on to Cortez in Colorado for a two night stay.
DAY 10 - Mesa Verde National Park
Today we visit the Mesa Verde National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will see thousands of amazing homes built into the cliff faces.
DAY 11 - Monument Valley & the Grand Canyon
We drive via Four Corners to Monument Valley in Arizona for an overnight stay. We continue to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Take an optional flight to see Monument Valley, Lake Powell, Rainbow Bridge and the Grand Canyon.
DAY 12 - Grand Canyon
Enjoy an optional helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon, and absorb the natural beauty of one of the greatest natural wonders of the world. The Colorado River took seven million years to cut this spectacular 14 mile-wide gorge, with a panorama of staggering depths, strange rock forms and brilliant colours. We then drive through the Painted Desert and the Navajo Indian Reservation to Page on beautiful Lake Powell. You can take a boat trip, before continuing to Kanab in Utah for a two night stay.
DAY 13 - Bryce Canyon
We tour Bryce Canyon with its cream and pink-tinted pinnacles, pillars and delicate spires. This is a truly incredible spectacle caused by the winds turning the sandstone into natural sculptures.
DAY 14 - Zion National Park & Las Vegas
We visit Zion National Park with its unique sheer cliffs, deep chasms and bizarre rock shapes, then continue to Las Vegas for an overnight stay on the famous Strip. Enjoy a farewell get-together this evening.
DAY 15 - Las Vegas/UK
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
DAY 16 - UK
Arrival in the UK.
