Bulgaria

I am thinking of going to bulgaria for my first jy holiday.Any one going can tell me what to expect on my first single holiday.I am a 57yr old male.Will i feel out of place?

Hi Steve,
Not done Bulgaria but doubt you will feel out of place. I've did 2 just you holidays ast year and the age range varied from 27 to late 70's on both trips. First trip to america 7 men and 11 ladies, 2nd to andalucia 10 men 35 ladies. I'm 52 years and found plenty of others to socialise with on both trips, made some good friends.

Hi,

You won't feel out of place as everyone is in the same position and providing you are prepared to make an effort it is really easy to form friendships during the holiday. There Isn't a great deal today and the excursions are a bit basic.

There are quite a few good bars within walking distance of the hotel and you
can get a bus into the tourist hot spot of Sunny Beach from outside the hotel.

I went in June last year and the weather wasn't great, but I had a great time and I would recommend going.

Hi Steve. I'm 63 and going in April. Did a JY cruise and Montenegro last year. Have had a brill time - two of the best holidays I've had. You have to make an effort though. Usually outnumbered by ladies - quite a few over 65's (they feel safe I guess - coz everything is chaperoned). Recommended all the same.

Hi Steve
I am thinking of Bulgaria as well, I have been on singles holidays but if
I book will be the first time with JU. I am sure you will not feel out of place, all ages and am sure it will be OK!
