India and Nepal--May 2009

My husband and I have recently returned from India and Nepal. This trip was excellent value for money. The itinerary was varied and interesting, the hotels were all,at least, very good, and some were exceptional. The food was superb--we are both vegetarian and it was a joy to sample delicious Indian and Nepalese vegetarian cuisine! The local guides(without exception) were excellent--knowledgeable,informative and always approachable. Our Tour Manager -Edward(alias Cha-Cha!)was organised, competent and professional.A VERY BIG thank you Edward--even for those sunrise wake up calls--it was all worth it! India?--fascinating, frustrating, bewildering,thought-provoking but not to be missed. Nepal is delightful.
