Happy mosquito/bee bitten walkers of Halkidiki
welcome back everyone, and apologies to those i didn't catch to say goodbye properly. This was my first "Just You" holiday and apart from being bitten and stung,i enjoyed it immensely. My bathroom however seems to lack something....I've tried switching the light on and off quickly and turning the radio up, but i fear that my disco dancing shower-days are over.Charles, i hope you manage to negiociate the site as our official photographer and Maurice, your legs will remain in my sub conscious thoughts for a life time.I counted about twenty three bites and i think you won the unofficial and uncoveted award.Unless anyone can prove otherwise.I will miss the winking "Bill Murray" lookalike in the bar but am sure he will put his talents to use over the coming year.I enjoyed everyones company and am now about to try and book China in November next year.I'm not sure if i will ever cope without a disco shower in my life but i will try! all the best, Denise

Denise
I only registered a couple of days ago but am quite keen to give the greek walking holiday a go. However, I am a little concerned that because this is an activity holiday it might be all 30 year olds!! I myself am a fairly fit 60 year old and don't really want to be the only 'granny' in the group, so can you tell me did the group have a good mix of ages? Would be nice to avoid the worst of the mosquito/bee biting time of year (if there is one) - what time of year did you go? Regards. ChrisL |
