Why change the hotel?

Hi Olly,

I have just looked at your updated christmas & New year brochure 2009 (Italian dolommites & croatia)& I see justyou have changed the hotel in Opatija, I know you have to take the online reviews with a pinch of salt but to be honest they are nearly ALL awful. Why have justyou suddenly decided to change the hotel?

Hi Debbie
Here at Just You we do take a great deal of care when choosing our hotels, so when we do change it is always because we think the new hotel offers our customers a better experience. We always send our staff out to give a new hotel a through examination, so that we can be satisfied it will meet our standards.
I'm fairly sceptical about online reviews but I agree that it is always interesting to read them. After reading your message I had a look and thought they were mostly very positive, with about two-thirds rating our hotel very good or excellent.

Hi Olly,
Perhaps you could clarify which hotel it will definately be then, maybe I was reading about the wrong Hotel Grand?? I notice there are several variations...Hotel Grand Adriatic, Grand Hotel opatija, Grand Hotel opatijska Cvijeta, Is it the one with 238 rooms Camelia,wisteria,magnolia and welia?

I know what you mean - the Opatijan hoteliers all seem to want the word 'Grand' in their hotel names!
Our hotel is the recently opened four-star Grand Hotel 4 Opatijska Cvijet. The address is V.C. Emina 6, 51410 Opatija, Croatia, and the rooms here have the floral theme you have mentioned.
I'm sure you'll be very happy here, as we do take a great deal of care when choosing our hotels.

The reviews are mostly positive like you said. Feeling a lot happier now although, if the hill is as steep as they say I will be at the bottom thumbing a lift! ;0)
