Would be happy to hear form anyone going on this trip. Also, does anyone out there know what travel plug I need for China and what the weather will be like at that time of year ?

I have just returned from this trip and you will have a fantastic time, you can use the USA or far east adapter, the hotel plugs will take both. I took both which was handy as I could charge or use two things at once! Weather in China at the moment is in the 90s and humid with occasional showers I should imagine it will be a little cooler by October!
