It looks as if we are in for a busy week, with all the excursions (I've booked them all too) The weather looks lovely in Sorrento right now. Let's hope it stays that way. I guess we'll need walking shoes for Vesuvius.

I am going on this trip It's my 3rd trip with JY and others have been great. I've booked most of the trip but want to visit Herculaneum so decided to miss Positano - I think! Staying at Gatwick Chequers Hotel the night before as a fair old jaunt from West Somerset for an early start.

I was on the Sorrento trip last year and on our 'free' day (think it was the Saturday) a group of us got together and took the train to Herculaneum. So you could do all the excursions + Herculaneum, which was well worth it.
