Nervous

Hi there is anyone going to Austria on the 18th June? It will be my first holiday abroad and I am scared about the whole thing. I have never flown before and am nervous about the whole airport thing. I travel a lot by train and can manage to negotiate myself round this country with ease even on the underground, but am getting more nervous the nearer the date gets. Anybody been in the same boat? Would love to hear from you for reassurance. Thanks.

Not going to Austria in June, but I have done a fair bit of traveling on my own. Airports are easier to deal with than the train system in this country. If you have travelled on the underground and trains, the airport will be a doddle. You will also have your tour manager to guide you through, so relax and enjoy your holiday.

Thanks for reassurance Ian got to do it am in my early fifties now so don't want to leave it any longer. Have never been away before on my own and never on an aeroplane. Still there's a first time for everything. From what I've read everyone seems to have a good time on these holidays and they all seem to go back for more so it can't be that bad. Sure I will be ok once I get there. Thanks once again.

My first ever Just You holiday was to Austria, and I had an absolutely wonderful time. Everyone is so friendly and the time just flies past. It takes a bit of courage to book that first holiday alone, but once you have done it and taken the holiday you will never look back.

don't worry. i went on my first lonesome trip last year to austria, i did the 'get together' so immediately met 4 others so it was a gentle introduction. all you got to remember is your not the only one. Austria is beautiful.
