Cuba?
HI . Have just "joined up" and would love to hear from anyone who has done the Cuba tour. Have never done a Justyou holiday and wonder if I should think about going somewhere closer to home to start with!

Thank you! I guess it's just a case of jumping in feet first! You obviously enjoy JY holidays? Was wondering if they're a bit overpriced? But if one gets value for money- then that's the main thing , isn't it?

RE: Cuba?
There is a vdieo link above from my self Cindy Nixon and also one from a lady called Lesley might answer some of your questions. all in all what you get in the WHOLE package is well worth paying the price for and defo value for money...I have enjoyed all the holidays for different reasons, I have seen sights I never would of seen on my own and meet a great selection of people along the way. Give it a go you have absolutley nothing to worry about.

Have fun if there is anything else I can help with just ask.

Cindy

RE: Cuba?
Hi

I personally do not think Just You holidays are a bit overpriced as lots is included. You do not pay a single supplement and get a big double room, not a poky little room. Lots of excursions and meals are included and you are looked after from start to finish. Yes, there are cheaper options out there, but then you end up paying extra for excursions, single room etc. I would recommend Just You for anyone considering going on a holiday on their own.

Hello there.

I agree with Cindy. My first trip with Jy was to Egypt and had a great time. Since then I have been to Northern Cyprus and am going to Turkey in September. Whatever you do, ENJOY Mel

RE: Cuba?
Hi, I did the Cuba holiday last year, its a fab tour, a lot of travelling but very interesting, we had a local guide who stayed with us through out and was extremely knowledgable. The people are poor and to them things are quite expensive but to us are cheap, they appreciate being given soap, shower gel, toothpaste etc & also pens, pencil etc for their children and they love t-shirts so take lots with you to give away. As Cindy says just go for it, you won't regret it, my first tour was to China and since then I've done 2 USA & Cuba.

RE: Cuba?
I thought Cuba aws one of the most interesting & varied re history and terrain and seeing the most primitive farming methods over in the west. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Don't have the full body massage at the hotel right over in the west - he yes HE massages parts which make you die!!! And it hurts!!
