Hi Helen,

Yes, I'm going on Sept 4, from Gatwick.

Looking forward to it but a bit nervous.

No need to feel nervous at all. This is my 8th Justyou holiday & they have all been wonderful. Everyone is so friendly, the hotels always fine & the fun we'll have you'll remember for years.
I'm coming from Exeter & will be at checkin at Gatwick about 2pm. Look out for me I'm tall & blonde. Tell me how to recognise you.
Make sure you have your Justyou label visible on your hand luggage. The holiday is full so there'll be about 2 dozen or so of us.
I don't know anyone else going.

Hi Helen

Thanks for your reply - I will definitely look out for you at the check in desk. I'm also blonde, mid-length hair and I'm about 5 ft 6. I'll make sure the Just You label is on display! Glad to hear you've been on lots of Just You holidays and have always found them fun. I'm pleased to have made contact and hope to see you at the airport!!

Hi Helen & Maggie

I went to Sicily last October. If you are planning on going up Mt Etna, make sure you take the appropriate clothing/footwear (ie fleece, coat, boots, gloves) . It snowed for us and it was so cold with a biting wind. JY did not pre-warn us and I and others did not really think about it so suffered. You can hire a coat, boots and socks there but not as good as your own.

Enjoy
Sylvia

RE: Sicily Septemer 4th
Hi Maggie,
Been looking on the net for temps in Siciky. Wow whilst we're there it's going to be between 27-31C and guess what swimming is going to be divine in 27.9C sea.
Not going to need much except lightweight gear & something to wear up Mt Etna.
Have you booked on the phone for the 2 optional excursions? Had a couple of tips from friends and they say don't miss either. Bring something warm for the Mt Etna one and stout shoes.
Counting the days now.
Helen

Hi Helen

Just caught up with this thread now!! Holiday was great - met some really lovely people including yourself and the tour was packed so full of interesting things to see and do. It totally exceeded my expectations and was certainly enhanced by our fantastic tour guide Nensi, who worked so hard to please us all and at times went beyond the call of duty to really make the holiday special.

Good luck with your future travels - do keep in touch and let me know how you get on.

Yes it was a fabulous holiday and Nensi our Tour Manager was lovely and worked so hard. Loved the group photo, everyone looks so happy.
Let me know if you are considering another holiday. The Justyou book was the first thing I did when I walked back in the house on my return!
