Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself as your Tour Mgr on this fun and relaxing holiday. I will be on the 27/07, 18/08 & 25/08 departures.

If you have any questions about the holiday, post them here - I'll get back to you as soon as I can... In the meantime, below are a few "tips" to help with your packing:

Do pack a bathing costume - the hotel pool is lovely.
No kettles in Italian hotels, so you may wish to bring one.
Bring a lightweight scarf/wrap to throw over shoulders in the evening or before entering a Cathedral.
Insect repellent - not too bad here actually, but it is July & August!

Just making contact as i am on the Apulia 27th July trip as a slightly nervous Just You first timer.Thanks for the tips!
Am trying to keep suitcase nice and light as a result of slipped disc (boring) Will you be in Italy or at the airport? Will someone at destination be able to assist me with suitcase?
Do I need to pack a beach/pool towel ?
How formally do people dress in the evenings?

I came home from my first Just You holiday to Apulia last sunday. Lovely hotel with a huge pool, I took a beach towel but discovered that you can hire one from the hotel.

Dress for dinner was not formal at all, just smart casual is fine. We had 34 degrees of sun all week so be prepared for the heat.

I had a wonderful holiday and hope you do as well.

It's lovely that you took time to post a reply and am pleased I don't need to lug a towel. Sounds like a brilliant holiday and glad you enjoyed it. I shall welcome a bit of Italian heat after all this dismal English weather!!

Apologies for the late reply - been a busy year! So glad you're joining us in Apulia, everyone tells me they were nervous before the holiday but once they start meeting fellow travellers at the airport, it goes away. Keep your eye out for the JY luggage tags at the airport and introduce yourself! As I live in Italy, I will be at the airport in Bari to meet the flight.

The hotel will take care of getting your case to and from your room so no worries there!

The response from Ange is absolutely correct - you can hire a towel from the hotel for €3 for the week. Dress for dinner is whatever you would like it to be.... mostly smart casual as Ange said, but if you like to dress up a bit, bring it on... it's your holiday!
