Hello. At least don't have to worry about time off for holidays.

Have just about discarded New England. Its about £1000 dearer, and you have to buy all evening meals

Though I really like the thought of a over christmas and new year holiday, I'm trying to visualise OPATIJA in mid winter. Can you remember that last morning there, and that was only rain, no colds winds etc.
To go away for christmas, would give my Daughter a break, as I'm sure she and her family organise their christmas to accommodate me.
Which is not really fair on her.

So will it be China. Do you know anyone whos done that trip.

Hello, Luckily I don't have to worry about time off. I'd like to get away for christmas, to save my daughter organising her christmas arround me. But after the nice time and weather we had, would I be disappointed. I recall OPATIJA in the rain that last morning, and try to visualise it in winter, and what would you do in PULA on a cold ,wet winters day.
I think I've ruled out New England, its so expensive in comparision, about £1000 dearer, and that doesn't include dinners.
So that leaves China. All the reviews rave about the holiday, but not sure.
Do you know anyone who's done this holiday?
Nice chatting to you.

No I don't know anyone who has done China. And oh yes I remember the rain! The Dolomites would be amazing at that time of the year!

I think I will always remember the 'memorable' music we heard coming back from the fish picnic. Somehow made me forget I was feeling ill !!

Hi Sue, Nice to re-meet you. Do you realise you and I can stand up and brag, WE WERE THERE. We had the pleasure of listening to that great rendition on his accordion. And Oh!, that unforgettable, (or should it be unforgiveable), singing. Its possibly your queasey tummy, might of been natures way of forewarning you of what was about to come.
Joking to one side it was a great holiday.
Maybe one day our paths might cross again.

Hi, I'm new to community - been to china lots of fun, very hectic and LOTS of tombs but wouldn't have missed it. Been to croatia twice fell in love with the place and will go back again at some point in the future. Thinking of the cruise to St Lucia in November - expensive so don't want to make mistake - does anyone have anything to help me decide?
