I am joining the April 2012 trip to Jordan and would like an idea of what prices are like for lunch and incidentals such as coffee and refreshments in order that I can buy the necessary dinars.

Food and drinks in Jordan are mostly quite cheap. I would allow around £4-5 for a nice lunch, though you can buy delicious street food like falafel for much less. Coffee will be less than £1 - cheaper than the UK.
