Hello to everyone travelling with me to China on the 13th October. My name is Judy Davies & will be your Just You Tour Manager. Please feel free to ask me any questions on here about your forthcoming trip. I have been to China more than 20 times so I am familiar with your tour.
However as I am off on a tour of Vietnam tomorrow I may be a bit slow responding. Looking forward to meeting you all.
Best wishes
Judy

Hi Judy,
I,m going on this trip and doing the add on.Are you better to take some chinese money and the rest sterling to change over there.I haven't recieved any information about the trip yet and I am trying to get myself organised.Do you need any overnight bags or do your cases go everywhere with you.Do the hotels have tea/coffee in the rooms.I am looking forward to it but getting nervous like I always do.
Linda

Hi Linda, sorry for the late response, I,ve just returned from Vietnam.
Re your quetsions.

Bring a smaller overnight bag,as when we go to Chengde we leave our main luggage in storage in Beijing & we just take enough for the 2 nights. We them meet our luggage at the airport when we return from Chengde & fly to Xian.
You can change sterling in all the hotels or on the boat so not a problem at all. Please do,nt bring Travellers Cheques as these are not easy to change.
Hope this helps.

Kind regards
Judy

Hi Lin, I,m currently in China on tour & the weather has been really nice, sunny days but cool in the evenings. In a few weeks time the temp will have dropped so I would suggest bringing some warmer clothing. ( maybe a cardigan or a light fleece ).

Kind regards
Judy
