Hi Michael
I'm sorry this is inconvenient for you. We are looking at making it possible to pay for more excursions in advance, as we know some customers don't want to carry much cash.
Another option could be to withdraw cash from ATMs as you go, so you are never holding very much money on you. Remember to let your bank know if you plan to do this.
Kind regards
Olly, your editor

Hi Olly
Thanks for your reply. From a personal viewpoint any optional excursions that can be paid for in advance would be greatly appreciated.

Isobell - well done on making that first step and booking a trip! As I wrote on an earlier post, there's nothing to worry about if my first holiday is anything to go by, it was really well organised and the people very friendly.

Michael.

Talking about excursions I'm hoping to do most of them but not too sure about the helicopter ride and the rafting, has anyone else got these two trips in mind?

RE: Canada Rockies & Vancover
Hi to all who have posted messages - I'm Sue Davies, tour manager on this tour. I've done this Rockies tour a number of times and it is fantastic - lots to see and do and the most spectacular scenery. As far as the optional excursions go, just to clarify, payment should be in cash - you can withdraw Canadian dollars from ATMs using your debit card (remember to tell your bank you will be using the card) so this is a secure way to do so. The helicopter ride can be paid by credit card direct to the flight operator on the day. I'll give more details of all the activities at the start of the tour to help you decide what you'd like to do to make the most of your time. I'm sure we will all have a great time! Look forward to meeting you soon, Sue

Hi Sue

That's great news - this is the most expensive optional extra by quite some distance! Thanks for your feedback on this, I look forward to meeting you on the 10th.

Michael.
