Hi Ozzy
I'm booked on the Kenya trip on 4th Nov. What Maleria tablets are you having for only £4.95? My GP has advised i have Malarone which are going to cost me around £40. If i can get something cheaper that does the trick, i'd rather go with that!

Passport sent off so hopefully the visa will arrive on time; not sure I'll bother with jabs as it doesn't say they're compulsory, so just the spending money left to sort out.

Hi Everyone,
Five weeks to go - yippee!! Jab and malaria tablets done, visa sent off for just money to get and packing to do.
Jackie - I think the balloon ride will be round about £250 if we have time to do it. According to someone I've been in touch with from a previous trip the safaris take up quite a bit of time. Also been told it cools down at night so maybe a shawl or cardigan - probably not a coat tho. Smart casual for safari lodge but she said dressy at beach hotel - if you want! Having a dummy run with my suitcase (which is probably too big) & holdall soon. Electric is same as UK and hairdryers can be borrowed from Lodge and are in rooms at beach hotel. Other than that nothing else to report except I'm so excited he he and hope we don't get the rains which they haven't had yet all at one go!! Regards Jan

Hi all
Is anyone else going down to Heathrow by coach? Or can anyone tell me rough distances I will have to cart everything when I get to London coach station and the one at Heathrow.
Hope to see you all in the lounge if not before.
Jen
