Thanks for the reply, I really am looking forward to my holiday and I have decided to spend the night before in a hotel at heathrow . Any tips on the trip would be welcome I have not got a clue what to take, but I have done my electronic register for travel to the USA.

Good morning David
The only thing I can say is that when I went last time it was in November. As we are leaving a cold England winter coats will be on which will come in handy as the weather can be very cool especially at high allitudes. Las Vegas however as you know is in the desent so don't forget the sun tan cream. The weather there was great during the day but a jumper or fleece came in at night. Whilst there I hope they take us to Freemont Street, which is old LV and contains the first of the casinos. They do a overhead lazer light diplay show which is definately worth seeing.Hope this helps. Regards Gillian

Just be looking for any messages relating to the trip. It looks like maybe only we two have booked for November, but it is early days. If the problem with ash doesn't improve we may not be going at all. You said you hadn't had a holiday for a while were have you been?
