Haha - now I have this vision of you manacled to your computer, furiously posting to JY. What have you found to say in over 700 posts?

Definitely need a holiday, Cindy. Sorry you are going to have to wait so long before you next trip.

Andy, Mick, and I will go on holiday for you in the meantime if you like. We lowly 'Senior' members (oops need to include Olly here too) will continue with the good work of 'testing' the trips and reporting back.

I did join in Jun 2006...when you take that into consideration it does'nt sound as bad....having met me you know I can talk !!!! so in another way I am surprised that it is NOT more than 700...

I cannot beleive I am not on a flight till Jan 2012....to NZ I am then away in March to Caneries with Hubby, so that will make up for my lack !!?? of holiday's in 2011..Enjoy testing the trips ..I very much look forward to hearing about the route 66 tour..

Actually, I think it's about 750 by now, but as you say you have been on here a while so I suppose they do mount up.

There are so many questions to be answered too - it's all Andy, Mick & I can do to keep with the queries.

New Zealand in January eh? Right time to be going - I envy you - the weather will be great there as I think it will be Summertime. Another place I have always wanted to go - and after seeing Billy Connolly do that on TV it has made me want to go even more. Trouble is, there are so many places left still for me to see.

I am off to Prague for Xmas (been before but not in the Winter) but I am also doing Peru in March - Machu Picchu is another place I just have to see. So that is why I have to wait until September to do Route 66. It will seem like forever to have to wait but such is life. I know Route 66 does not appeal to everyone but there is a lot of interest being shown .
