Canada and New England are beautiful in the autumn - the colours are wonderful at that time of year with so many shades of red, green and yellow. Plus you have all those amazing sights, such as Niagara Falls, Toronto's CN Tower and the heritage of cities like Boston.
Don't worry about your age - quite a few younger travellers like you are posting on the Community these days. You might be the youngest in your group but I'm sure everyone would be just as welcoming. The main things is that you want to see the world and that you enjoy meeting people.
I hope you will take the plunge and give Just You a try.

Hi Olly

Many thanks for your kind reply. I am looking into getting the trip subsidies as I have a considerable amount of avios miles to use, I have been in touch with avios to see how this works and the balance I would have to pay as well. One of the main reasons I am looking at the Canada and New England trip is because for the past five years I have been wanting to go to New York, I feel I would not have enough time in New York just staying there two nights to see places. If I wanted to is it possible to fly out a day early and stay one night in a hotel on my own and meet up with the rest of the group who will be traveling on the holiday, if this is possible how is this done and what would the extra cost be for the hotel in New York?. I have been told you travel on luxury buses to get around on your holiday are you able to provide more details as to what type of luxury buses these are, is there much leg room and are they comfortable.

Lastly as you can understand I am nervous about doing this as I have never been on a single holiday in my life and going away with people I have not meet before I am a bit worriedShy I will be the youngest member of the group at 33 years old!!. I hope the people will be friendly on which ever date I will book on to go.

Sorry to ask a few more questions.

Kind regards

Angharad

RE: CANADA & NEW ENGLAND IN THE FALL 2012
Dear All

Thanks for the information, I am seriously considering going on this holiday at the moment I cannot say which date I will be going on. One of the reasons I have looked and the Canada and New England tour is because it is a dream of mine to go to New York! I do not feel two nights is enough is New York to see everything, and also think I be doing rather a lot of shopping in New York. I am looking to fly out early and spend an extra night in New York and meet up with the rest of the tour there. Has anyone been to New York, as I would like to go to central park, statue of liberty and see all the other attractions as well. Just wondered if anyone if thinking of spending an extra night in New York.

Hello Angharad,

Olly is on holiday, so I'm filling in for him at the moment.

You most certainly can fly out early, we have may customers who want to extend their holidays in one way or another. The best way to get this arranged is to give our call centre a bell and see how they can help you out. Sometimes they can put you in the same hotel as the one on the tour, so you don't have to move about so much. Give them a call on 0844 567 8844, they will be very happy to help you.

The buses on this tour are from 'A Yankee Line Inc.' - they are deluxe buses.
Yankee Line is the only operator in the United States to install all-leather seating, with extra spacing between seats, in Top Class Setra coaches. These coaches are equipped with individual headset systems, individual tray tables, DVD entertainment, mini-galley and GPS enabled map viewing on passenger video screens. The very latest coaches are now equipped with seat belts throughout, satellite television and internet services.

Here is a photo of some of the seats, hopefully you can get an idea from the image about how much leg room you get.

Which date is it you are looking at? There are three dates in October. So far, the 6th October looks best for you, as there are four people in their 40's already booked onto this trip, unfortunately there isn't anyone under 40 on any of the October dates at the moment, although this could change.

Hi Sally

Can you confirm with me the dates of when the Canada and New England, I am a little confused as I thought the only date that the holiday was running in October was departing October 6th, are there any other dates in October when this holiday is running at. I am sure the holiday is also departing in September as well. Just out of interest is it only in October and September the Canada and New England holiday is available.

Thanks

Angharad

RE: CANADA & NEW ENGLAND IN THE FALL 2012
Hi all:Thumbs Up

If anybody has been on the Canada and New England Trip can you tell me which trips or excursions are included in the holiday. I have not been able to find the information, I assume the hotels are nice to stay in. With eating out in the night are the restaurants similar to the ones in the UK. If anyone has been on the trip can you describe it by giving your highlights of the holiday.

Best wishes

Angharad

From the description of the above holiday it appears that breakfasts are not included in this trip. Can you please confirm, as if breakfasts are excluded, additional dollars would be required when budgeting for the holiday spending money?

Many thanks

Marie

Hi Marie, I have just spoken to a JY adivser who said Breakfasts are included, apparently I have an old brochure, a new one on the way to me. I'm also thinking of booking this trip but concerned about the no meal element.
