TBH I think an over shirt is a good idea...not in bright colours as attracts the insects...as it mops up the sweat!!!! and when your in the jeeps you can get covered in the orange dust so if you have overshirt you can then take that off and your top half is sort of clean!! are your shorts...short shorts or like the 3/4 style leg, as if this is for the jeep I think short shorts would be a bit uncomfortable with the seats and heat and you are forever standing up and sitting down on the jeep just a thought..you must do what you want to do of course. You can normally find very cheap long sleeve cheese cloth type of overshirts in markets nothing expensive..
