Hi! Could you please advise where it is better to exchange GBP for the Malaysian currency: in the UK or there? Many thanks!

I would buy your currency here in the UK if possible, either through your bank or an online currency company, as it is one less thing to think about when you get there. If you can't, there will be places to change money at the airport in Malaysia.
The exchange rate in the UK is currently around £1 = 4.9 Ringgitt.

Yes I would agree thats its better to buy at least some currency here. I went to M&S who seemed to be the only place to have Malaysian currency available in store. They were also very helpful in giving me small denomination notes which are more convenient. Look forward to meeting you in a couple of weeks. Ian
