Really enjoyed the slide show Carol, many thanks. I'm hoping to do a trip to China over the next year or two, either JY or Travelsphere, so it has given me a real flavour of what I might expect. Pity the weather wasn't better!

So pleased you enjoyed the photo's. The one bit of advice I can give is take a uv umbrella, my daughter practically forced me too, and was I pleased. Much better than a hat.

The food was of course is Chinese and very varied, I found something at each meal that I enjoyed, I even tried chopsticks.
I didn't take that much with me and ended up getting laundry done in the hotels which as I remember was not that expensive
