Trouble is, I'm a lousy traveller (on buses), and don't usually do land tours. I've looked at the map, and the distances don't seem to be that great, but I really need to know how windy the roads are.

I'm wondering too about group numbers. If you're a JY veteran, what's the smallest/highest group number? I have a friend who thought she joined a tour group to Egypt. It turned out to be just herself and one other and she felt uncomfortable and bored throughout the week.

What are tour members like? Do they behave like stag/hen nighters?

I am booked on the 07.20 BA flight from Manchester into terminal 5 and then have to get to terminal 4 for connecting flight. I am concerned if I have to collect my luggage I am not going to have much time. Another member has written that she was on the same tour last September and also travelled from Manchester and her luggage went straight through and getting to the other terminal was made a lot easier. I would welcome thoughts from previous travellers on the included trips. I am able to do plenty of normal flat walking. and don't have a problem with inclines (steps or otherwise), it's just coming down steep slopes or steps that I struggle more with as I have to take my time and am always concerned about holding other trip members up.

What is the area immediately around the hotel like for shops, small supermarkets etc? Bear in mind that I will be going in early October so I guess quite a few places will be closed?

Finally, the hotel. Get's good reviews for staff friendliness and food which is great. I DO like smaller hotels. I was wondering what the arrangements were at the bar as previous hotels I have been at with Just You had a cash free bar. Am I guessing at this hotel it is pay as you go, including for drinks at the restaurant? Are we allowed to take our own travel kettles for use in the room? I know that some hotels frown on this.
