Carol,

I am sorry for your loss, about the to soon I think only you can know that, why not go for a short holiday not to far away, that might suite you, but then again long distance might work as well.

All I can say is I have done 6 tours 4 long haul and 2 short haul and have two more booked and they are well worth it, very good holidays and nice people to meet and spend time with, I hope you go for it and give it a go.
