Is anyone going on the golden west tour in May and flying from Manchester. It's my first JY holiday and very nervous, it would be great to get to know my fellow travellers.

Hi,
Ive been on three holidays with just you all to Italy, this will be my first trip to USA. Ive enjoyed my previous holidays to Italy, I was using those as a tester for this holiday really. With Italy only being a two hour flight it was ideal to get used to what was involved, can honestly say im now in love with italy its a wonderful country. So this year I decided to go and book the holiday ive wanted for a long time. My parents have been and enjoyed it and ive seen the video they made etc, this just made my mind up for me. You will be fine with just you, they take good care of us, the tour reps are helpful and are always happy to help. Just cant wait to go now, Viva Las Vegas.

Great to hear from you. Sounds like you are a seasoned travller, I've been to the canaries a few times on my own on normal package holidays and always wanted to go somewhere long haul like America. The long flight and changing flights has always made me play safe and go back to the med, but I booked this holiday on the spur of the moment on my birthday last year. Im still nervous, but excited about going, and travelling with JY means everyone is in the same position travelling alone. What are you looking forward to most about the trip?

Looking forward to Las Vegas, Seeing the strip at night and taking the helicopter ride will be fantastic. The Grand canyon is going to be spectacular to. Im looking forward to the trip to universal studios, seen i t on tv and it looks brilliant. San francisco will be great infact just the whole holiday sounds amazing, counting down the days until I go now.

I think I will splash out and go on the helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon, everyone I know who has been says it is fantastic. I am a big film fan so I am really looking forward to LA, in particular the trip round Universal Studios. I would really like to see Alcatraz, shame it's not part of the tour, hopefully there will be the time and opportunity to visit before we leave.

It's great to get the opportunity to get to know other people going on the same trip and to be able to break the ice and make friends with the people you will be spending your holiday with.
I'm really looking forward to it now - 10 weeks today and we will be on the plane - hopefully! Have you visited the west coast before?

hi to you all, i'm also leaving from Manchester and am happy that I won't be stood there alone without a friend!!
Its my first trip of this type and am really excited for San Fran and LA.
