I am going on the discovery weekend on the 13/8/2011 to Nottingham in my spare time I tend to draw building and the landscape then when I come home I paint in my studio. Had a really good time on both occasions, and I'm now just waiting for my Halkidiki holiday in May, followed by the Canadian Rockies and Alaska Cruise in Sept! It took me some time to pluck up the courage to do this, but I'm so glad that I did - what better way to see new places and meet new people - as someone said to me, "You're going on holiday with friends you have yet to meet" and I think that's a great way to look at it! Take care Anne I just wanted to say hello to everyone, I am new to this and was wondering if anyone will be or already has booked onto the up and coming discovery weekends?? I live in the High Peak in Derbyshire and I wondered if there were other members living close to here. It is unfortunate that weekend breaks are getting full but I will get to join some of you soon.Teresa RE: Discovery Weekends - gingernut1949 - 19/03/2011 02:08 PM Hi, I've just summoned up the courage and booked onto the Bournemouth weekend in late September.
