Discovery Weekends

Hi Everyone

Im just new to this site and was wondering what the discovery weekends are like. Im 40 and wanted to know what age group to expect. I was thinking of going to Madeira in August, but would it be better to go on a discovery weekend first or just jump right in!!!

There are many posts on this subject so have a look around, for me I would just book the holiday, but you must do what you feel is best. I am 52 and have done 6 JY tours with 2 more booked. My first tour was USA so I just jumped straight in.

Hi Polly,
Think the jury is out on whether its best to book a discovery weekend or go straight for a holiday. Personally I jumped in at the deep end and did a holiday and didn't regret it, had a great time with some nice people.
