Hi Everyone,

My name is Debbie and I will be the Tour Manager for Riviera Splendour on departure dates 19/04 & 3/05.

Debbie I am going on the 14/06 what will the weather be like, would it be better to bring euros and what clothes would you advice? Nice of you to let people know you are the tour guide maybe see you in June? regards DianeJan x

Hi Diane, sorry for the delay in replying, I was on tour another tour, and did not get notification of your email !!
Weather should be good in June, temperatures can reach high of 30 deg c, but check internet nearer the time you travel. You would need to search for Tremezzo as this is the area you are in. It is possible to have showers, so take a brolly or light raincoat, and I would recommend light natural fibres to wear. Also a cardi for the evenings if it gets a bit cooler. You will need euros as cannot pay in Italy in any other currency, but larger shops and most restaurants will accept credit cards. You can also get euros from ATM machines in resort.
Unfortunately I will not be in Como the time you are there, I'll be in Lake Maggiore, but know you will have a lovely time.

Hi Diane, weather on the riviera should be around 25 deg c at that time, but check nearer the time on the internet. You would need to look around the Diano Marina area as that is next to your resort. I would suggest light natural fibres, and maybe dress up for Monaco and Portofino, if you like, there will plenty of well dressed people there !!! A cardigan or light jacket for the evenings, as there can be a breeze by the sea.
You will need euros in Italy, more expensive shops and some restaurants will take credit / debit cards, and you can get money from ATM machines in resort. I will be on one of the lakes whilst you are there, but know you will have a great time....
