I would like to do the up grade for the rodeo, but dont particulary want to if there is no one else doing it. It would be good to know how many are interested in doing this, as i think there will be problems if we leave it until we get out there.

If you are up for it then i am at least we wont be on our own!!

Hi Sam, am going to ring on friday and see if I can find out any more - surely then they would have the info etc. I'm up for it though - I've done this kind of thing before, and its great not to rush around trying to find somewhere to eat etc. will post what happens.

Best wishes
Pat

Hi Olly/Sam, rang friday, nice lady never heard of the rodeo upgrade, said she would ring me back. Today, sat, I rang them. Apparently she has sent an email, and will ring back on monday. Wonder how come Olly knows about it, but the travel advisors don't? will report on monday!

Hi Sam/Olly - lady rang back - can't book upgrade unless there is a minimum of 10 people doing it. So, have just booked the basic for now.
Best wishes

Hi Olly

This seems a real shame that we cannot book the upgrade, because we dont have enough interested yet. I hope then that when people ring in to book their extra trips that they are given the option to upgrade, or the ones that are interested are going to miss out.

Hope you can give us some advice on this and what we can do?

Thanks

Sam

Hi Sam
It sounds like you have already done the right thing by registering your interest in the upgrade.
If anyone else reading this would like to take the rodeo upgrade, please phone up and let us know. Our staff will keep a record of those who are interested and make the upgrade when numbers are high enough.
Kind regards,
Olly, your editor

Hi Olly

As it is getting close now, only just over four weeks just wondering if you know how many have been interested in doing the up grade for the rodeo? only when i rung them again, they said there was no list set up for this?

It would be a shame to miss out on this if it is at all possible to do. Do you think it would be worth trying to contact our tour guide?

Thanks

Sam

Hi Sam
Not many of our tour managers are on the Community so they may not see your message, but by all means give it a try.
I have asked my colleagues for their advice on how to book the upgrade so I will let you know when I hear more.
Kind regards
Olly, your editor

Hi All
I am not afraid to admit it, That America is not a place that overly interests me, Considering that this is a large country that think there are kangaroos in Austria lol
However Texas and New orleans certainly tickles my fancy and would love to hear from anyone that has experienced this trip and any feedback would be so welcome
Thank you all
Regards Andy

RE: Texas and New Orleans 6th Oct
Hi Andy
I agree with Robert, the Texas and New Orleans holiday was brilliant and certainly a holiday to remember. We saw some wonderful places and had an excellent Tour Guide who was always there for us. I think it would top all the previous American holidays I have had over the past 10 years and I am even thinking of going there again in 2 years time.
Texas has some interesting cities with so much to see and New Orleans is such an exciting city.
I last visited New Orleans 4 years ago, 2 years after Hurricane Katrina when the city was struggling to rebuild after that terrible disaster. I felt a sense of great sadness at that time, but it was so wonderful to see the city again this year so vibrant and alive. The jazz dinner cruise on the Mississippi steamboat was a truly wonderful evening to round off a truly memorable holiday.

This is definitely a holiday not to be missed.

Marie
