Mijas & Fuengirola - A half day introductory tour featuring a visit to the delightful Andalucian town of Mijas with its whitewashed houses and lovely views of the coast below. We continue to the popular resort of Fuengirola where you can enjoy a stroll along the promenade, lined with bars and restaurants.
Ronda - Enjoy a three-quarter day scenic tour visiting the picturesque cliff-top town of Ronda, with its spectacular location and historic centre. The town stands on a towering plateau, divided by El Tajo, a precipitous gorge over 600ft deep. Enjoy the fabulous views from the 18th century Puente Nuevo Bridge, which spans El Tajo, looking downwards to the waters of the River Guadalevin below. On one side of the gorge stands the old Moorish town of La Ciudad, and the more modern, 18th century El Mercadillo part of town.
Nerja and Frigiliana - A three-quarter day tour visiting the beautiful hill top village of Frigiliana situated in the foothills of the Almijara Mountains and the coastal resort of Nerja with its delightful old town, sandy beaches and hidden coves.
The following excursions are optional:
Alhambra Palace - A full day excursion to explore the architectural treasures of Granada. We include a visit to the world famous Alhambra Palace (entrance included). This Moorish citadel is an impressive reminder of Granada’s historic past and includes the Generalife, the summer palace with its fountains and gardens. At its heart stands the massive Renaissance Palace of Charles V, opposite the old Moorish casbah with its fascinating narrow streets and whitewashed houses with secluded inner gardens.
Gibraltar - A full day excursion to ‘The Rock’, including a fascinating tour by mini-coach plus the opportunity of a cable car ride (at extra cost) to the top of the Rock for spectacular views. Watch out for the famous Barbary apes that call this British colony home.
On the final evening enjoy a farewell get-together.
