Day 1 UK/Warsaw
Meet your travelling companions at Heathrow and depart on your scheduled flight to Warsaw. On arrival transfer to your hotel for a two night stay. Enjoy a welcome drink before dinner this evening. Meals: D
Day 2 Warsaw
Our morning city tour of Warsaw takes us to see the main historical buildings on a walk along the Royal Route, followed by free time to explore further. Tonight enjoy Chopin’s piano concert and a glass of sparkling wine at one of the palaces at Royal Baths Park followed by dinner in a local restaurant. Meals: B/D
Day 3 Krakow
Enjoy a relaxing morning, before we step aboard the train and travel first class through the beautiful Mazovian region to Krakow. On our arrival this evening we transfer to the hotel for dinner and a three night stay. Meals: B/D
Day 4 Krakow
Our walking tour of Krakow’s old town accompanied by a local guide takes in such wonderful sights as the Wawel Royal Castle, the celebrated Cloth Hall, the beautiful old Kanonicze Street, and the magnificent Market Square, dominated by St. Mary’s Church. This afternoon relax or join our optional excursion to the impressive Wieliczka Salt Mine. Dinner at the hotel. Meals: B/D
Day 5 Zakopane
Today we include a full day excursion to Zakopane in the spectacular Tatra Mountains. This is one of Poland’s best known mountain resorts. Over the years it has grown from a tiny village into a popular holiday centre, yet has retained its strong local traditions and folklore customs. Meals: B/D
Day 6 Auschwitz
Relax or join our moving optional excursion to Auschwitz. After dinner, we board the train for the overnight journey to Budapest. We have reserved the whole carriage exclusively for Just You clients. Sleeping accommodation will be provided in shared three berth compartments with wash basins. Toilets are located in each carriage. There will be a conductor on board your carriage selling tea and coffee. Meals: B/D
Day 7 Budapest
We arrive in Budapest this morning and have a guided city tour before reaching the hotel for an overnight stay. We will see the major sights on both sides of the river including Heroes’s Square, the Fisherman’s Bastion and St. Matthias Church. Dinner this evening is accompanied by music and a folklore show. Day 8 Vienna
Enjoy an included cruise on the Danube, before boarding the train to Vienna. On arrival we transfer to the hotel for dinner and a two night stay. Meals: B/D
Day 9 Vienna
Join our included morning sightseeing tour of Vienna, with free time this afternoon. Austria’s stylish capital has to be one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, renowned for its architecture and historic association with music. Discover splendid sights such as the imposing Gothic spire of St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the impressive Hofburg Palace and the Opera House. Meals: B/D
Day 10 Prague
We take the train to Prague arriving early afternoon and transfer to the hotel for a two night stay. Dinner is at the hotel this evening. Meals: B/D
Day 11 Prague
Morning walking tour of Prague’s old town with an official guide. See some of the main sights, including Wenceslas Square, the Old Town Square with its famous Astronomical Clock and the 14th century Charles Bridge where you will find local artists selling a variety of their handmade arts and crafts. The afternoon is free for shopping or exploring further, before the coach takes us back to the hotel. Enjoy a farewell get-together this evening. Meals: B/D
Day 12 Prague/UK
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to Heathrow. Meals: B
