Your Accommodation

You will stay in the excellent four star Salamis Bay Conti Resort Hotel, set in its own pleasant grounds directly on the beach. The hotel offers a high standard of accommodation and amenities include bars, restaurant, lift, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and beauty centre.

Facilities include tennis courts, Turkish bath, sauna, jacuzzi, table tennis, fitness centre, billiards and water sports. All bedrooms feature private facilities, satellite TV, minibar, air-conditioning, hairdryer and balcony. The hotel is a short drive from the centre of Famagusta.

Your Itinerary

DAY 1 - UK/Larnaca
Meet your travelling companions at the airport and depart on your scheduled flight to Larnaca. On arrival transfer to your hotel on the outskirts of Famagusta for a seven night stay. Enjoy a welcome drink before dinner.

DAYS 2 TO 7 - Famagusta
Free to relax and enjoy our excursion programme. The following excursions are included:

Salamis City and Famagusta - We begin this full day excursion with a pleasant walk along the beach to the ancient city of Salamis. The city is home to a treasure trove of ruins, including a fine Roman amphitheatre. After an included picnic lunch, we visit the medieval walled town of Famagusta. Take a walk around the walls and see St. Nicholas Cathedral, the Venetian Pakace, St. Barnabas Monastery and the Royal Tombs.

Karpas Peninsula - Drive to the Five Fingers Mountains to Bogaz. Visit the 5th century Monastery of St. Andrew. Then you'll have free time for drinks and relaxation on the beach. We return to the hotel in the evening.

You can also enjoy our optional excursions -

Boat trip - A scenic boat trip from Famagusta along the coast to see the deserted ghost town from the sea. An included fish lunch will be cooked on board with time for swimming close to a beautiful beach (May-Oct).

Capital city - A full day tour to the capital of Cyprus, Nicosia, split in two by the ‘Green Line’ which divides the Turkish and Greek Cypriot communities. The old town is a picturesque combination of 16th century walls, pavement cafés and charming squares. You’ll have free time to explore and indulge in some shopping.

On the final evening, enjoy a farewell get-together.

DAY 8 - Larnaca/UK
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
