Take the short drive to Dallas this morning for our guided tour of the city. You’ll be introduced to all of Dallas’ main sights, including Pioneer Plaza, the Arts District and Dealey Plaza, where the outstanding Sixth Floor Museum details the events that led up to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963. Entrance to the museum is included before heading to the city’s West End area, where there will be free time for lunch before returning to Fort Worth in the afternoon. Once a notorious stop on the cattle route to Kansas, it’s no wonder Fort Worth’s nickname is Cowtown. This afternoon, we visit the Fort Worth Stockyards, which will give us a real taste of what life was once like here. We then visit the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame, as a reminder of the skill and courage it took to trail cattle hundreds of miles across the country. This evening you may have the opportunity to enjoy the Championship Rodeo at Cowtown Coliseum, subject to schedule.

The day ends with a visit to La Villita, the site of San Antonio’s original settlement, and where you’ll now find streets lined with galleries, boutiques and cafés.
