Your accommodation
You will stay in hotels such as the Radisson Hotel on Fishermans Wharf in San Francisco, La Cuesta Inn in San Luis Obispo or Best Western in Arroyo Grande, the Best Western Carriage Inn in Los Angeles, the Hotel Zoso in Palm Springs and in Las Vegas you will stay in the Stratosphere Hotel. Rooms feature TV, telephone and private facilities. Most hotels have a bar and restaurant and some extra facilities such as a swimming pool and shop.

Your itinerary
Day 1: UK/San Francisco
Meet your travelling companions prior to your scheduled flight to San Francisco. Transfer to your hotel for two nights’ accommodation.
Day 2: San Francisco
Included morning sightseeing tour. Among the fabulous sights you’ll see are the famous Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman’s Wharf. Optional excursions include a harbour cruise which passes underneath the Golden Gate bridge as well as a scenic helicopter flight. This evening we include a San Francisco by night tour including a welcome dinner and a drink.

Day 3: San Luis Obispo/Arroyo Grande
Drive southwards along 17 Mile Drive, famous for its spectacular seascapes to Carmel and Monterey. Continue along the historic El Camino Real to San Luis Obispo or Arroyo Grande for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Santa Barbara & Los Angeles
Continue south visiting Santa Barbara before arriving in Los Angeles for a two night stay.

Day 5: Los Angeles
LA is one of America’s most exciting cities. On our included morning sightseeing tour you will see the Hollywood Bowl, Graumann’s Chinese Theater with its famous footprints, Sunset Strip, and the celebrated Farmers’ Market. This afternoon we have an optional visit to Universal Studios. Enjoy the thrilling rides, shows and attractions that await at the entertainment capital of LA.

Day 6: Long Beach & Palm Springs
This morning we drive to the beautiful, vibrant seaport of Long Beach. You can visit the former ocean liner, R.M.S. Queen Mary, now a grand hotel; stroll around the shops and restaurants in the large open mall in Queens Market Place; or go to the world famous Aquarium of the Pacific, home to 11,000 ocean animals. We continue to Palm Springs for a two night stay.

Day 7: Palm Springs
Free to relax and soak up the sunshine or join our optional excursions, featuring a tour of the stars’ homes, visit to the Living Desert and Aerial tramway.

Day 8: Palm Springs & Las Vegas
Leave Palm Springs and head into the state of Nevada. We stop at Barstow Outlet Mall for shopping and time for lunch before you continue to the glittering neon wonderland of lavish hotels and casinos that is Las Vegas for a three night stay. All the action of the famous Strip is close by and can be experienced on our included Las Vegas by night tour.

Day 9: Las Vegas
Free in Las Vegas to enjoy this exciting and vibrant city. Optional evening show available this evening.

Day 10: Grand Canyon
From Las Vegas you can take an optional flight over the awesome Grand Canyon, an unforgettable way to see this incredible natural wonder. The Colorado River took seven million years to cut this spectacular 14 mile-wide gorge, with a panorama of staggering depths, strange rock forms and brilliant colours. Farewell drink this evening.

Day 11: Las Vegas/UK
Transfer to Las Vegas Airport for your return flight to the UK.
