You will stay at the lovely new 4-star Hotel Ramada, situated between Salo and Desenzano, just a mile from the centre of the little village of Moniga, close to the western shore of the lake. The hotel offers a very attractive restaurant, pretty patio terrace, bar and beautiful swimming pool. All the well-appointed rooms have a balcony or terrace and feature private facilities with a shower, TV, telephone, hairdryer and mini-bar. For a small charge the hotel can provide a minibus service to the nearby villages of Moniga and Desenzano.
Your hotel in Torbole is the 3-star Hotel Holiday is situated in a peaceful location in the charming town of Torbole on the north shore of Lake Garda. All rooms have private bathroom, telephone, satellite TV, safe, hairdryer and a balcony. The hotel is set in pretty gardens surrounded by mountains and olive trees. Features include a swimming pool, free Wi-Fi in public areas, a bar and a restaurant specializing in local dishes.
Please note: Clients staying in Torbole will be offered the optional excursion of a Dolomites and castle tour with lunch, which will replace the The Gardens of Sigurta.
For the 2 October 2012 departure your hotel will be the Manerba del Garda Resort. The hotel has a swimming pool, restaurant, bar and rooms with balconies and terraces. The nearest bus stop is about 1km from the hotel.
Your itinerary
Day 1: UK/Verona
Meet your travelling companions at the airport and depart on your flight to Verona. On arrival, transfer to your hotel for a seven night stay. This evening there will be a welcome drink before dinner.

Lake Garda
A full day tour to see some of the beauty spots on this fabulous lake, surrounded by lush groves of olives, vines and citrus trees. Stop at one of the many delightful resorts where you can shop, relax with a drink and admire the spectacular scenery. You will also enjoy an included scenic cruise on the lake.
Venice
There is nowhere on earth like this extraordinary city of canals, palaces and Renaissance architecture. See all the main sights such as St. Mark’s Square, the Rialto Bridge and the Doges’ Palace on our full day excursion. Take a stroll around the hidden piazzas or perhaps enjoy a gondola ride through the network of canals (extra cost).
Verona
A three-quarter day tour to one of Italy’s most beautiful cities, the home of ‘Romeo and Juliet’, with its magnificent Roman Arena dominating the historic centre. There will be time to explore, relax at a pavement café or browse around the shops in Via Mazzini.

Cliffhanger Lunch
A half day trip to Tremosine, a resort high above Limone, including a scenic drive along the route featured in the recent James Bond film, Quantum of Solace. Enjoy a ‘cliffhanger’ lunch, so called because of the ‘Balcony of Thrills’ setting with panoramic views over the lake.
The Gardens of Sigurta
The beautiful gardens of Sigurta are a spectacular oasis of greenery at the south of Lake Garda and are considered to be one of the most beautiful in Italy. The gardens cover a vast area with 18 ponds, a herb garden and the Great Lawn and can be visited on foot or aboard a miniature train to help you see the best the gardens have to offer in whichever season you visit.
On the final evening enjoy a farewell get-together.
Day 8: Verona/UK
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
